By accessing or using Decor Trade ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Decor Trade is a community platform that facilitates the voluntary exchange of home decor items between users in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Platform acts solely as a matching service and does not participate in, guarantee, or take responsibility for any exchange.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Item Listings

By listing an item, you represent and warrant that you have full legal ownership and the right to exchange the item. Items must be accurately described and photographed. The Platform reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.

5. Exchanges

All exchanges are conducted voluntarily between users. The Platform does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or value of any item. Users are responsible for inspecting items and agreeing on exchange terms before completing a swap.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Listing items you do not own or have the right to exchange
  • Providing false or misleading item descriptions
  • Harassing, threatening, or scamming other users
  • Using the Platform for commercial purposes
  • Attempting to circumvent Platform safety features

7. Fees and Donations

The Platform is free to use. Any donations collected are used solely for server costs and platform maintenance. Decor Trade is a community initiative and does not operate for profit.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Decor Trade shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform or any exchanges conducted through it.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
